CROCHETING FOR HOME
When I saw the Medallion Table Mat by Linda Perman from her book Crochet Adorned I knew I had to make it!
I chose this lovely colors from Drops Nepal that fits perfect to my home style.
It was so fun and easy to make, and my white table stands up the different shapes. I’m so happy with the result!
On summer is when we take our family vacation, and this year we went to Brittany, in the north-west of France.
We fell in love with its nature, the charming woods and all its inhabitants, including the little elves!
We enjoyed a lot in the Grand Parc Puy du Fou, with the surprising spectacular shows: the circus games on Triumph’s Sign, the terrifying Vikings attack, knights battles, musketeer adventures…
We also discovered the Celtic Harp music on a park. Now it’s one of my favourite music to listen to while I’m working!
We made our vacations on a caravan, so I chose an easy knitting project to make while on the car.
This is my Pogona shawl by Stephen West with Alegria yarn from Manos del Uruguay, finished on our last vacation day (yay!)
For this project I needed a lot of stitch markers, and I made my very own ones. I love to hear the little “click-click” sound while I’m knitting.
Now I’ll have to wait ’til autumn to wear my new shawl… I think it will fit perfect with my jeans!
