Working into the back loop leaves the front loop visible on the right side of the piece. Crocheting into this front loops allows you to don’t have to attach some complex amigurumi parts and all turns easier and fun!

Let’s see how easy it is to join the yarn and crocheting into this front loops.

   1. Make a slip knot and place it on your hook.

   2. Insert the hook into the front loop you want to start with.

   3. Make a single crochet.

   4. Continue crocheting every stitch that follows.

Do you want to try it? The crown of Tuki the Triceratops dinosaur and the dungarees of my Minion are made using this technique.

I prefer less attaching pieces and more crocheting!
